Wessel Davel acquired his B.Com Market Managing at the University of Pretoria in 1988.

He is an employee of DN Makelaars since January 2000. He was appointed as director at DN Makelaars in 2016. With more than 26 years experience in the insurance industry, he can be seen as a specialist in the field.

With clients all over South Africa, he is an expert in the commercial insurance industry.

Gerhard Nel acquired his BSc. Agric at the University of Pretoria in 1981. 

He is an employee of DN Makelaars since 2001.

Gerhard has more than 26 years experience in the insurance industry.

His fields of expertise are in agriculture and crop insurance.

He was also an assessor for the crop insurance industry. 

Gerhard loves farming and to play golf in his free time. He enjoys being in nature and to visit game reserves.

André Nel acquired his B.Com Market Managing degree at the University of Pretoria in 2008. 

He is a loyal employee at DN Makelaars since 2009.

He was also an assessor for the crop insurance industry.

With more than 18 years experience in the insurance industry, he is fully competent in the field.

André is a keen farmer and hunter. He also does long term insurance and serves as a financial advisor with Liberty.

Nicko Janse van Vuuren completed his BA Political Science degree at the University of Potchefstroom in 1995. He also acquired a certificate in Financial Planning in 2015.

He is an employee at DN Makelaars since 2022. With more than 14 years experience in the insurance industry, he is fully competent in the field.

Nicko has a passion to travel and loves to play golf and read in his spare time.

Jean-Marie Potgieter has 8 year experience in the financial industry and obtained her RE certificate in 2017. She ran her own brokerage before joining DN Makelaars' team in 2024. 

She is fully qualified to give financial advice to our clients regarding short-term insurance needs.
